Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend!

Hey All!

So is it bad that i'm excited that Christmas is almost over... well for me.. one more day and my Christmas Holidays are over and then i have to get over New Years and then i can start 2010. I need to make some New Years Resolutions and stick to them. One being stop shopping so much in SL (LOL) who am i kidding... that's like not going to happen.

Today i've mixed a lot of my old purchases.. with my newest purchases from Su! and Coco. I've also decided to try out the blonde look for a while. When i originally rezzed in world 2 years ago i was a blonde... but because i'm brunette in real life i decided to make my avatar similar to myself (well the hair department anyways).

One thing i can't forget to mention is the Diamond Room by Katey Coppola - the talented creator behind Glitterati Poses. This is currently Anne and I's favourite purchase and if you look through my Flickr Stream you'll find a lot of my latest pics are taken in it.

An Aoharu Holiday

As much as I enjoy time off from work, the holidays never fail to be busy! Between running around RL and all the going on of SL it has been totally crazy. However, I was lucky enough to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas with my bestie and fellow blogger Lily. We got to have some much needed together time and it was great! I even got to spend time with my friend Kami as well as a few people I rarely get to see.

Anyway, enough holiday babble and on to today's outfit. Today's look is very casual, but chic at the same time. When I first put on the down vest with shirt from Aoharu, I was in love. With the new Yelena hair from Fri.day to top it off it's pulled together yet totally comfortable. OMG! I was supposed to have this post out on Monday, but it's been a hectic week. Unfortunately, my bah-humbug self has been in full force this week as I try to get everything RL taken care of before we closed down work for the holidays. Needless to say, as of today I am on vacation! Woot!

Anyway, the 50L designers were out in full force this week! With so many items to choose from it was hard to just pick a few. However, my favorite item I purchased this week has to be Merritt's hair from Tiny Bird & Reek. It was the inspiration for my winter look this week and I hope you enjoy it. I can't wait to see what else this collaboration comes up with!!

50L Friday #20

Heyas.. yes it's that time again. Another week has been and gone and another set of stores set an item for 50L and Anne and i went 50L Friday crazy :P

I guess today i went a little out of my comfort zone and chose to blog the cute dress from This Is Fawn. The catch being... i threw in my trusty pair of boots from Last Eden and well basically created a pretty yet kinda odd look :P

I'm not going to ramble on this time... i'm just going to get straight down to business and let you know the details. Black Is The New Black O.o ??

Hey All! Lily here... i've been a bit lazy of late blogging... but its been busy busy RL with Christmas next week i've been busy rushing around for last minute presents :S Truth is i can't wait till its over :p

Anyways.. today i'm going for your typical Lily look. Again a jacket... boots and jeans. The jacket is the newest release by Fanney Finney of FG Underground. Simply put... i am in love. It comes with a couple options... you can either wear it like i have with just the collar OR you have a scarf option as well.

The rest of my outfit are just a couple of items i've had in my Inventory for a while now and i always seem to go back to them. The torn jeans, simple but cute tank and these boots from Last Eden - which as soon as i saw them i had to have.

Lucky Christmas

So, I have totally been "bah-humbug" lately. You know the feeling: denying the fact that Christmas is only 10 days away, a reluctance to admit you're behind on shopping for presents, and a desire to just say "bah-humbug, can we roll in 2010 already?" Okay, so maybe most of you don't feel that way, but in an effort to shed my moodiness I decided to go shopping. I mean, come on, what's better for the soul than a little retail therapy?!

While on my quest to find my Christmas spirit I ended up at Mudhoney and found this awesome photoable. Finally, something to jump start my inner jolliness. Of course, no Christmas scene is complete without a warm winter outfit. Fortunately for me, CK Winx of Luck Inc. released an awesome line of sweater dresses and wool leggings. Not to mention the warm boots from Anexx to keep me warm and in the holiday spirit.

So, now that I have found my holiday happiness I hope you will too!

50L Friday #19 (Anne's Version)

You may think Lily was joking when she said how excited we get over 50L Friday. But she is completely right, every Thursday night when we're chatting we always talk about how tomorrow is Friday (and we know what that means)! Due to our timezones we always have to wait until after our Friday is over, but it is always worth it. The designers never cease to amaze us and the different outfit possibilities are endless. So, just to say it again, THANK YOU DESIGNERS!

Oh how i LOVE 50L Fridays... Anne and I get our lists and go OMG OMG OMG (sad i know). The truth is how can you not be excited about awesome items at only 50L. If you can fight through all the people and the lag... you can pick up some awesome bargains..

So that brings me to today's look. I decided to go a little retro. Truth is.. Artilleri has to be my favourite store. I adore the sim... i adore Antonia Marat's clothing... and i especially adore the objects she creates.

I <3 Winter!

Hey all.. Lily again. I put together this outfit today and i had to blog it. Something old and something new :P Aranel Ah of Boom just released her amazing new "Call Me Baby" Dress and i love it. I love cute high neck winter dresses and a cozy pair of boots.

The boots also one of :Sey's newest releases. The texture change menu... means you can make them the colour of your choice - so match them with whatever outfit your wearing.

Also another new release is the hair from Truth.. it's called Sarana and i adore it.

Hey all... Lily here. I'm the other half of Clothes Over Bros. SL Fashion for me... is well an addiction. If there's a new release... i'm there within the minute (i know i'm sooo bad). I'm the girl who can't go past a cute coat/jacket... and is usually found in a pair of comfy jeans.

Bad Gaga

Hey there, welcome to the newest SL blog "Clothes Over Bros." You may be wondering about the title and that was thought up by my bestie and fellow blogger Lily. When she first said the phrase, it just made sense. Despite the men that flow through our SLives, we always have SL retail therapy to make us feel better!

Anyway, I'm sure you will learn more than you want to know about us soon enough... How about we get on to the clothes already?!

For the first blog entry, I can't think of anyone better to honor than Lady Gaga. She is an inspiration to me as well as many of the designers in Second Life.
